I’m LJ Jean, the creator of Luscious Rebel Intimate Artistry — a queer womyn+, witch, and boudoir photographer with over 17 years specializing in intimacy and erotic empowerment.

I built this studio for the misfits, the rebels, and the womyn+ who’ve been told to shrink. My work lives in the shadows -moody, gothic, luxurious- because I believe that’s where our power hides. I don’t do cookie-cutter sexy. I create spaces where you can shed the bullshit conditioning, feel your body in full force, and walk away with artwork that feels like you.

This isn’t just about photos. My background in trauma-informed practices, somatic bodywork, and intimacy coaching means I’m holding space for every layer of you - the soft, the fierce, the messy, the divine.

Outside the studio, you’ll find me pouring witchcraft, music, and creativity into everything I do. My lens is my ritual, my rebellion, my way of showing you that you’ve always been enough...

My Why, and Where I Come From

I built this work because I needed it - and I know many of you do too.

I didn’t build Luscious Rebel because I thought boudoir sounded cute. I built it because I needed it. I’ve lived through trauma, through survival mode, through the kind of shit that makes you question who you even are. And like many of you, I needed a place to come home to myself.

I’m a queer womyn+, a witch, and a mother. I started my creative path as a makeup artist, then picked up a camera at seventeen and fell in love with capturing the raw edges of beauty. By eighteen, I was shooting boudoir. I had my son just after turning twenty and built my business while working multiple minimum-wage jobs, raising him mostly on my own, and carrying the weight of trauma and learned people-pleasing that took my own self-empowerment to unlearn and decondition.

I walked my talk - so that I can lead you into your own self actualization.

That grind shaped me, but it didn’t break me. It made me relentless. It hardened my boundaries, but softened my heart. I am neurodivergent, direct, and deeply empathetic... a mix that allows me to read between the lines, feel what isn’t said, and still speak the truth when it matters.

For a chapter of my life, I also worked as a professional Domme, both online and in person. That experience taught me more about power, trust, and embodied confidence than anything else ever could. It showed me that power isn’t about control... it’s about deep & embodied presence. That pleasure and vulnerability are sacred reflections of both strength and need. Those lessons are woven into how I create and coach today.

I eventually put myself through college and graduated with honours in business, all while continuing to grow what has become Luscious Rebel Intimate Artistry. Along the way, I dove deeper into intimacy and embodiment, completing my advanced training through the Somatica Institute in Somatic Sex and Relationship Coaching. Those tools changed everything for me, and now they shape how I hold space for you.

I'm not just taking your photo.... I am sitting with every layer of who you are; the messy, the divine, the scared, and the powerful. What I offer is about creating a place where you don’t have to hide or perform. A place where you get to feel seen in all of it.

We do not move through life untouched by our history and conditioning. Here you bring your whole self and know that racism, sexism, homophobia, and transphobia have no place within my walls. This is a space of true inclusivity.

Your images are yours alone. Nothing is ever shared without your explicit consent. What happens in this studio stays in this studio and remains a sacred container for your most powerful and vulnerable self.
